- Design & Engineering is one of the Key divisions of Granite Construction Company. It provides vital information at various stages of construction with regards to construction methodologies, construction techniques, working drawings and other design details.
- Well-qualified structural designers and a full-fledged drafting team is backing up the division.
- The division is fully equipped with the latest analysis software (STAADPRO 2004) and a drafting software (AutoCAD-2005, Micro station, Site works etc) and all necessary large format printing / plotting devices.
- This division has handled variety of projects of different types such as EPC, Turnkey, Lump sum, Crucial Plant shutdown nature projects etc.

a)Design proposals / techniques during bidding stage
b)Co-ordination with EMI and other specialised sub-contractors
c)Producing of Civil Design and Shop drawings
d)Co-ordination of Civil construction drawings with various disciplines such as EMI, Landscaping etc
e)Co-ordination with third party consultants / certification bodies
f)Identifying appropriate construction chemicals, project materials etc in line with client's requirements
g)Work execution method statements of complex nature
h)Preparation of Interior Design Reports for the buildings
i)Preparation of Architectural drawings / 3D modelling
j)Dewatering methods, Deep excavation procedures, underpinning schemes, complex temporary supports schemes of critical units such as gas pipelines, Vessels & Structures, Soil Improvements, Pre-cast proposals etc.
