Networking & Hardware Infrastructure

High speed Local Area Network with 1000 MBPS backbone and 100MBPS speed for nodes in our Head office, Abu Dhabi, having 40 terminals connected through 3 Nos of high speed CISCO 2950 Catalyst switches / LINKSYS 16 PORT 1000 MBPS master Switch, which are cascaded in star connection, through patch panels.
Primary domain controller is rack mounted HP DL 380 dual processor-P-IV 3.2 Ghz X 2, with 3000 MB ECC RAM, 72GB DAT, 1000MBPS NIC, with contemporary RAID-5 - 4 x 72 GB hot-swappable ultra wide III SCSI hard disks, which includes one online spare disk, for fault tolerance.
Back-up domain controller / EXCHANGE MAIL Server is Compaq dual processor-P-III 933Mhz X 2, with 1408MB ECC RAM, 40GB DAT, 1000MBPS NIC, with contemporary RAID-5 - 6 x 9.1 GB hot-swappable ultra wide II SCSI hard disks, which includes one online spare disk, for fault tolerance.
Power-supply for all network components are fed through APC 2200 Series UPS with intelligent RS-232 signalling with duplex monitoring / programmable-shutdown capabilities.
Virtual Private Network has been established through Cisco analogue router 2621 series for remote site connectivity to Head office.
HP Design Jet 1050 C++, E/A0 plotter having +64 MB RAM and 100 MBPS NIC ready ports for high volume batch plotting features
