Granite’s Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management Systems are in line with OHSAS 18001 and ISO 14001 respectively. These are certified by the Third party for compliance.
Our HSE Policy is endorsed by the Managing Director. The responsibility for establishing, implementing, maintaining and monitoring the HSE Management System within the Organization lies with the HSE Management Representative.
The HSE Management System documentation within the Organization is structured at four levels:
Level - 1 HSEMS Assurance Manual
Level - 2 HSE Procedures Manual
Level - 3 Risk Assessments/ Job Descriptions
Level - 4 Standard Forms/ Reports
On award of the Contract, the Project Specific HSE Plan is prepared based on our Corporate HSE Management System and Client’s HSE guidelines. Risk Assessments are carried out for all major/ significant activities and the control measures are implemented on approval by the Client.
HSE Personnel are deployed to monitor the effective implementation of Project HSE Management System. The MR (HSE) shall review the effectiveness of the Project HSE Management System every six months with the key personnel of the Project.
