Over the past 50 years Granite Construction Company has grown substantially. It has in this period built a central stores and workshop in Mussafah Industrial Area to control and optimize effectively the utilization and movement of materials, vehicles, plant and equipment.
It has a camp, located at Habshan which is maintained in line with ADNOC HSE guide lines. The objective of our camp is to provide a healthy living environment to the employees including Subcontractors working in remote areas.
Our Camp includes the following facilities :
- Sewage Treatment Plants which treat sewage before disposing / using for irrigation purpose.
- Integrated Fire Alarm system.
- Catering and Laundry services handled by a professional catering Company to cater for European, Arabic and Asian employees in the Senior, Junior & Artisan / Labour categories.
- Recreational facilities including separate TV rooms for the various categories of personnel, Gymnasium, Table Tennis, Ball-Badminton Court, Volley-Ball Court, etc.
The infrastructure at Habshan, Camp has a capacity to accommodate 500+ persons.
In 2015 Granite Construction took the decision to change the Hardware and Software of the company in order to record more precisely its activities. The current Microsoft Dynamics software has been customized to satisfy all the requirements of the Company Directors.

The computer Network is capable of seamlessly incorporating applications and services to meet resulting in increased budget efficiency, more agile business responsiveness, and simplified IT operations.
The network, cluster, and virtualization are carefully designed to meet Level 2 topology to thus minimizing downtime in the event of unprecedented failures. Further, the data center architecture segregates the various modules of the network (Access Layers, Server-to-Server Communication, High Availability Clusters, Networking and Security) allowing the continuation of business activities in situations where some modules or services are temporarily not operational.
